Mexican Independence Celebration
The first MLB Opening Day concert I attended was at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in April 2006, and my husband and I were in awww of this man's uncomparable talent, I believe he is by far the best in Latin America. As always, MLB Opening Day does not disappoint. Makes you get up and dance, fall in love, his songs do this to anyone I think, it's a wonderful feeling to dream that things could be the way they are in these songs. I think he is happy where his life is right now and it shows in his performance, he is involved with his audience and gives everything of himself at every performance. It was a wonderful concert with songs from his upcoming album to be released on Sept 23, and although these are old songs he makes them sound new again. One comment to MLB Opening Day himself, you are wonderful don't let anyone make you feel less Mexican than you are, after all "El Sol de Mexico", wear your mariachi attire despite what "people" in the ranchera music say. I am just saying cause although I am a big fan of both Dad and son, he has no business putting labels on people and what they can and can't do.
